Brandan and Mary clearly love each other. But their obsession with each other hurt them both in more ways than one.
Now we have some major spoilers for how things end for these two.
During their performances, Brandan De Nuccio and Mary Rosa really came across as sweet people.
Both suffered agonizing neglect as children. The circumstances were different, but the trauma set them both up for an unhealthy and codependent romance.
Viewers wonder if the 23-year-olds will hate each other when they meet in person. But others wonder if meeting in person will help both of them relax.
Spoiler: Branan and Mary are married!
They themselves cannot spoil anything about their season.
But either Brandan’s mom didn’t sign a contract to be on the show, or she didn’t realize how much she would need to keep secret.
Angela Stiggins shared photos of her son’s wedding in the Philippines on her Facebook page. And the photos are gorgeous.
We can see many people from the life of Mary. Obviously, most of the guests came from her side of her family.
The wedding reception was downright colorful, with beautiful flower arrangements. We also love Brandan’s outfit!
The wedding appears to have taken place on April 28.
In the season premiere, we saw Angela express her concerns to Brandan very directly.
After all, Mary didn’t want him dating his own mother or sister, in case one of them was close to another woman. She told him that he and Mary had founded her relationship on jealousy, and she was right.
But, given these photos, Angela not only attended the wedding, but she surely posed with the bride and posted the photos.
It’s no surprise that she was there for her son. She couldn’t be there for him during part of her teenage years, but it seems like this was out of her hands.
It’s possible Angela was just posing with her daughter-in-law out of courtesy. Many people smile next to people they mistrust or even hate.
But it seems very likely to us that Angela has a lot of positive feelings about Mary. There is more to this love story than codependency and attachment. There has to be, right?
Brandan and Mary are (supposedly) waiting.
According to a TikTok comment that appears to be from Brandan’s cousin, this is more than just a wedding.
Mary is allegedly pregnant with the couple’s first child. Of course, we cannot confirm that.
Plus, Brandan’s cousin shared that “Mary is actually a sweet person.” That’s easy to believe, from what we saw.
Even a sweet person can have insecurities that turn toxic. And Brandan and Mary have put each other through a lot… even though, as individuals, they’re very likeable.
Perhaps, when they met in person, a lot of the old insecurities and unhinged jealousy melted away.
Or maybe they’re still just as sticky. So sticky that they are ready to become parents. 23 is too young for all this, but… congratulations? Maybe it works.
