Amazon released a trailer for its other big fantasy series wheel of time.
Below is a first look at the second season of the drama.
Based on Robert Jordan’s hit fantasy series, the series follows “a humble farmer, Rand al’Thor (Josha Stradowski, grand tourism), who learns that he is The Dragon Reborn, a dangerous figure from history destined to save the world…or destroy it.
In season two, “threats old and new seek out the young friends of Two Rivers, now scattered across the globe. The woman who found and guided them is now unable to help them, so they must find other sources of strength. In each other, or themselves. In the Light… or in the Dark.”
wheel of time also stars Rosamund Pike (girl is gone) as Moiraine Damodred, Daniel Henney (Criminal minds) as Lan Mandragoran, Zoë Robins (power rangers ninja steel) as Nynaeve al’Meara, Madeleine Madden (Dora and the lost city of gold) as Egwene al’Vere, Marcus Rutherford (Achieve) as Perrin Aybara, Donal Finn (rebel heroes) as Mat Cauthon and Ceara Coveney (young wallander) as Elayne Trakand.
Amazon plans to continue releasing new assets every Wednesday until the program returns.
wheel of time the second season debuts September 1 on Prime Video.
