The film adaptation of Coleen Hoover’s book ‘It Ends With Us’, starring Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni and Brandon Skelnar, has started shooting. The upcoming movie has only received backlash from hardcore fans of the book since it began filming, and today is no different. An image of Blake Lively from the sets is doing the rounds on the internet, and the movie is coming under fire for the style choices once again.
Blake Lively is criticized for her pants
Blake Lively took on the role of Lily Bloom, a flower girl who, in this film adaptation of ‘It Ends With Us,’ likes to wear extravagant clothes, unlike the character in the book. Several photos of Blake have surfaced on the internet where she is dressed in “ugly” clothes, and fans are not happy, to say the least. Fans of the book, as well as the actress, are calling the movie’s styling department.
Blake is seen wearing a set of patterned blue briefs that rise above his belly button and another pair of boldly patterned pants over the briefs. On top, he sports a blue crop top, a yellow striped jacket, and a mustard leather jacket as his last layer.

Blake Lively is trolled
This isn’t the first time fans have questioned the fashion faux pas committed by styling departments on the set of the upcoming movie. Previous photos from the shoots that landed on the internet were criticized, but the boxer over pants is what really seems to have pushed fans over the edge. A Tiktok shared by the @chaitealattesandchilton account has several comments expressing the anger fans feel towards the costumes.
One user commented, “Every photo that gets posted just keeps getting worse and worse.” Another added: “This feels like a joke now.”
A third drew parallels to the book when they asked, “Where in the books did it say that Lily wore multiple pairs of pants?”
A fourth chimed in: “BOXERS ARE A HATE CRIME.” Another user wrote in disbelief: “The way they managed to make Blake look horrible is insane to me.”
