Britney Spears Teases Her Early Memoir, Reveals Release Date And Cover – UnlistedNews

Britney Spears is ready to tell her own story.

On your own terms.

That’s how the singer teased the release of her early memoir… when Spears dropped the cover art for “The Woman in Me” on Tuesday and also revealed the release date for what is likely to be a bestseller.

The following book will be available for purchase on October 24, 2023.

Spears, of course, rose to fame when she was 16 years old.

She has been in the brightest of spotlights ever since.

We learned in April that Britney signed a $15 million contract to write her memoir, and a source told Page Six at the time that her haters should be scared.

“Britney’s book is a triumph story,” a source told this outlet at the time.

“It will cover her most vulnerable moments, her childhood, being a little girl with big dreams, her breakup with Justin Timberlake, the moment she shaved her head, and her battle with her family over her guardianship.”

Ah yes, guardianship.

As you probably know by now, Spears was under the extreme control of her father for 13 years.

A judge ultimately rescinded this arrangement in November 2021, following the artist’s testimony in court that referred to guardianship as a form of abuse.

Britney is now in charge of her own life and her own career.

“Britney’s compelling testimony in open court shook the world, changed laws and showcased her inspiring strength and courage,” Jennifer Bergstrom, senior vice president and publisher at Gallery Books, told People magazine this week.

“I have no doubt that his memoirs will have a similar impact and will be the publishing event of the year.

“We couldn’t be more proud to help her share her story at last.”

Britney’s book will be published by Gallery Books, a division of Simon & Schuster.

On the book’s website, Gallery writes:

“In June 2021, the whole world was listening as Britney Spears spoke in open court.

“The impact of sharing his voice, his truth, was undeniable and changed the course of his life and the lives of many others.

“The Woman in Me reveals for the first time her incredible journey and the strength at the core of one of the greatest performers in pop music history.

“Written with remarkable candor and humor, Spears’ groundbreaking book illuminates the enduring power of music and love, and the importance of a woman telling her own story, on her own terms, at last.”

More recently, Spears made headlines for an awkward and somewhat violent interaction with NBA rookie Victor Wembanyama.

Meanwhile, in June of last year, the superstar married Sam Asghari at his Los Angeles home in a star-studded ceremony that featured Madonna and Drew Barrymore among the guests.

We can’t wait to read his account of everything that has happened in the last few years and even decades.

We also hope that Britney Spears is doing very well these days.
