For years, Chelsea Houska was the most popular member of the Teen Mom franchise by almost every measure.
And it did the near impossible by riding on that popularity and making the leap from a dying reality show to a much more respectable platform.
Earlier this year, Chelsea and her husband Cole DeBoer launched fabulous at homean HGTV series in which the couple renovates houses in their native South Dakota.
But success attracts haters and opportunists, and Chelsea and Cole are currently learning the hard way that they’re not immune to weaponized negativity.

To say that Houska has had a tough time with trolls would be putting it mildly.
As we previously reported, Chelsea and Cole are being sued by social media consultants who claim the couple owes them millions.
And now, to make matters worse, the usual gang of social media chatterboxes are compounding Chelsea’s problems with insults directed at her appearance.

Earlier this week, she and Cole posted a series of photos from their first day on the set of fabulous at home Season 2.
But commentators rained down on Chelsea’s show alleging that she has damaged her appearance with too many fillers.
“She doesn’t look like Chelsea,” one person commented, according british tabloid Sun.

“(She) has always been beautiful. Lots of work on this photo. Why spoil the beauty? asked another.
“I love her, but she’s definitely had more than botox lol. She got fillers in her cheeks and lips,” a third chimed in.
Fortunately, some fans rushed to Chelsea’s defense.
“Definitely looks like her,” wrote one such reasonable soul.

“She works hard to look and feel good. If she is happy, who cares about her,” this person added.
“Who cares? She doesn’t strive to be accepted in her idea of beauty,” another advocate noted.
At this point in her career, we’re sure Chelsea is used to the slingshots and arrows of haters anonymous.

Still, it can’t feel good to have strangers accuse you of altering your features to the point that you’re no longer recognizable.
Chelsea probably hoped to put that kind of trash talk behind her when she stepped away from the world of reality TV.
Unfortunately, she’s still famous, and these days, just about everyone is subject to the occasional online bullying.

Fortunately, Chelsea isn’t letting the trolls stop her from living her best life.
With a little luck, fabulous at home Season 2 will be just as successful as the show’s surprisingly popular first season.
The haters might not like it, but it looks like Chelsea and Cole aren’t leaving anytime soon!
