Chloe Bennet on ‘Dave’ Season 3: “Each Episode Is Its Own Bag of Weird”

The highly-anticipated third season of “Dave” is set to return to FXX. The show, which features Dave Burd as a fictionalized version of himself, has quickly become a fan-favorite. The new season promises to bring back some of the show’s favorite characters and introduce some new ones as well. But what can viewers expect from this new season?

Chloe Bennet, who plays Dave’s girlfriend, Ally, sat down with The Unlisted News to discuss the upcoming season and her relationship with Burd. According to Bennet, each episode is “its own bag of weird” and promises to showcase the show’s unique brand of humor.

“It’s the same ‘Dave,’ it’s just getting weirder,” Bennet tells The Unlisted News. “It’s getting weirder in the best way possible. It’s like each episode is its own bag of weird. But it’s still really grounded, and it’s still funny. I’m excited for people to see it.”

Bennet also shared that this season will explore her character’s relationship with Dave more in-depth. “There’s the Ally and Dave relationship, which is sweet and also kind of tragic,” she says. “It was really fun to explore that relationship this season. And we’re both terrible communicators, so it leads to a lot of comedy and also a lot of drama.”

The show has received critical acclaim for its portrayal of mental health issues, and Bennet says that the new season will continue to explore these themes. “It’s still definitely a heavy topic that we discuss this season,” she says. “I think it’s done in a really cool way. We’re not afraid to get into the nitty-gritty of mental health stuff, but it’s still funny.”

Overall, fans of “Dave” have a lot to look forward to in the show’s upcoming season. With its unique blend of comedy and drama, the show is sure to keep viewers entertained from start to finish.
