He said, “I told you, I’m against propaganda movies.” It’s not enough if he writes ‘true story’ at the bottom as a logo. It has to be really true. And that is not true”.

In an exclusive interview with Unlisted News, Vipul Shah addressed the criticism that has come in the way of the film, saying: “It was as expected. We expected difficulties, problems, criticism. We didn’t think that the criticism would be of this level because we have made a film that talks about saving the daughters, about exposing the terrorist network. We thought people would really applaud the fact that we’re trying to expose the terrorist network. Except for some people who will criticize him because the movie will go out of business, the major political parties have sided with the terrorists. That to me is very, very shocking. Part of the press, part of the media, has decided to support the terrorists and they want to discredit the film.”
He added: “They are trying to silence the voice of these girls. I can understand if you discredit me or any of my team members, but by discrediting the topic and saying that none of this happens, and it is a false story, you are hurting those girls and thousands of potential victims. This is a very worrying sign that we are insensitive to girls.”
