Kangana Ranaut On Nawazuddin Siddiqui Doing ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’: ‘People Said I Won’t Even Talk To Anyone’ – Entertainment News, Unlisted News – UnlistedNews

Kangana Ranaut becomes a creative producer under her Manikarnika Films banner for ‘Tiku marries Sheru‘ which will stream on Amazon Prime Video starting June 23 and stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur. At the trailer release, speaking about bringing the actor on board, the actress revealed, “I was looking up his number and people were saying he won’t sign anything for the next five years, and he won’t even talk to anyone.” , but I thought he might sign if he hears something he might like. Somehow I got his number and texted him that I wanted to meet him.”

She added: “Nawazuddin was in Bangalore and he asked me to come, and I did. She was surprised that I went to Bangalore to meet him. I told him that he had a script and he said, now that you’re here, who needs a script, we’ll make a movie. That was the entire conversation I had with Nawazuddin for Tiku Weds Sheru.”

At the trailer release, the actress made a few more revelations, one of which was: “This movie is very special to me because I haven’t told anyone yet, but this movie came out earlier. Many years ago, about six or seven years ago, Mr. Irrfan (Khan) and I were making this film. We had invited the media and it was a great launch (event). At that time the film was called Divine Lovers. Unfortunately, after that, my director got sick and then we tried to do it for the next two or three years, but he never got off the ground.”
