love island united states returns to Fiji with a new cast of singles looking for love.
Modern Family actress Sarah Hyland, who made her presenting debut in the fourth series, also reprises her role, as does British comedian Iain Stirling as the narrator.
The Peacock series follows a group of singles, each looking for a romantic connection in the love island town. Throughout their stay, the islanders will come together to face challenges, tests and twists at every turn to help determine if they want to stay together with their current partner or get back together with someone new. As they each try to find love, viewers at home can also vote to determine who stays and who gets sent home heartbroken. The fifth season takes place in Fiji, which is where the first season was also filmed.
Vander Pump Rules star Ariana Madix will also surprise the islanders with a special appearance during the second week.
Before the season premiere, the Islanders revealed in a sneak peek that they “can’t wait to get started” on their love island journey. But before it starts, they want viewers to get to know them a little better.
Anna Kurdys, 22, of Boca Raton, Fla., is a criminal justice student. She said that she is known to fall for one guy and then fall for another just as quickly.
Destiny Davis, 27, of Florissant, Missouri, is a microbiologist. She claims to be an “Alpha” dater, as she likes to call all the shots.
Jasmine Sklavanitis, 24, of Nashville, Tennessee, is a trauma ICU nurse. She said that she is ready to settle down with someone who takes care of himself and doesn’t take life too seriously.
Kassy Castillo, 22, of Fort Worth, Texas, is a real estate student. She said that she is someone who falls in love easily, but she always chooses the wrong guys.
Vickala “Kay Kay” Gray, 25, of Palestine, Texas, is an itinerant nurse. She admits that she can get jealous in a relationship, but she’s willing to go the distance to date.

Carsten “Bergie” Bergersen, 23, of Madison, SD, is a manager at Dairy Queen. He said that he is a hopeless romantic, willing to give his heart to the woman of his dreams.
Keenan Anunay, 23, of Atlanta, Ga., is a student. He admits that he has never really settled in, as soccer takes up too much of his time and emotional energy to spend on anything else.
Leonardo Dionicio, 21, of West Hartford, Connecticut, is a salesman. He said he relies on eye contact, funny sayings from him and the fact that he is fluent in Spanish to get dates.
Marco Donatelli, 22, of Boca Raton, Florida, is a chiropractic student. He said that he is ready to find someone family oriented with whom to build a future.
Victor Gonzalez, 28, of Atlanta, Ga., is a student and fighter. He has not only won a National Wrestling Championship in Spain, but is currently writing a romance novel.

fifth season of love island united states premieres in Peacock July 18, with new episodes airing daily at 6pm PT/9pm ET for the first week. New episodes will be released Thursday through Tuesday thereafter.
