Aryan Khan Drugs Case: NCB Suspends Vishwa Vijay Singh, a Member of the Team that Raided the Cordelia Cruise
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has suspended Vishwa Vijay Singh, a team member who was involved in the raid on the Cordelia Cruise, in connection with another drugs case. The move comes amid the ongoing investigation into the high-profile Aryan Khan drugs case, in which the son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan was arrested in a drug bust on the same cruise.
According to sources, Singh was suspended for allegedly tipping off drug peddlers ahead of a raid in Mumbai’s Andheri area. He has also been accused of taking bribes from drug suppliers.
Singh was part of the NCB team that conducted the raid on the Cordelia Cruise on 2 October, which led to the arrest of Aryan Khan, along with seven others. The NCB claimed to have recovered drugs from their possession.
The development has led to speculations about the impact it may have on the ongoing investigation into the Aryan Khan drugs case. However, the NCB has clarified that Singh’s suspension has nothing to do with the case and that the investigation will continue as per the usual procedures.
Meanwhile, Aryan Khan’s bail hearing has been adjourned till 20 October by a Mumbai court. Khan’s legal team has argued that there is no evidence to link him to the drug case and that he was only present on the cruise as a guest. However, the NCB has maintained that Khan was part of a larger drug racket and that he had links with drug suppliers.
The case has sparked a debate about drug abuse and the culture of drugs in the Bollywood industry. Several prominent celebrities have voiced their support for Aryan Khan, while others have criticized him and called for a crackdown on drug use in the industry.
In a recent interview, actor Arjun Rampal, who was also questioned by the NCB in connection with the case, said that drug abuse was a serious issue that needed to be addressed. He called for stricter laws and more awareness campaigns to tackle the problem.
The Aryan Khan drugs case has become one of the most high-profile cases in recent times, attracting widespread media attention and sparking debates about various issues, including celebrity culture, drug abuse, and law enforcement. The ongoing investigation is expected to shed more light on the case and its implications for the Bollywood industry.
