Bollywood actor Rajat Bedi, who played character roles in Rakht, Jaani Dushman, international khiladi and others, recently revealed some shocking details about his film. Koi… Thousand Gaya alongside Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta.
While chatting with Mukesh Khanna, the actor revealed that many of his scenes in the film were edited out, which left him “feeling terrible.”
“I moved to Canada at a time when I was frustrated with my work in the film industry. The movies worked and there was no greater success than koi thousand gaya but it did not benefit me. Because even though I had worked a lot on that movie, my song with Preity Zinta and Hrithik’s song with her… but when the final edit came out, my song was cut. My biggest disappointment was that when the film was released, they completely removed the advertising and promotions from the film,” Rajat said.
He added, “I was very disappointed because as an actor you have certain expectations. I felt terrible” Rajat also revealed that while working on a movie with Sunny Deol, his checks bounced after completing his part of the job. “So I was making movies with Sunny Deol. But all the checks I received bounced. I was like ‘How am I going to grow?’ I get movies, I get fame, but I had to run a house. And he had socialite friends, who ran companies worth ₹2000 crores. I asked myself, ‘Being popular is fine, but where’s the money?’”
Rajat was recently seen in ahimsawhich featured Abhiram and Geethika in leading roles.
