Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan is set to make her acting debut in Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies. The excitement around the movie is through the roof. Earlier today, the team released the teaser for The Archies at Netflix’s Tudum event in Brazil. The film also stars Janhvi Kapoor’s sister Khushi Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda, Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Yuvraj Menda and Vedang Raina in lead roles. Netizens are highly impressed with the trailer, as are Shah Rukh and Gauri.

The Archies is set in 1964 and the coming-of-age musical ensemble is based on a group of friends and their lives in Riverdale. The teaser has netizens nostalgic with its vintage vibe. A while back, King Khan took to social media and cheered on his baby. He even wished the entire crew of The Archies. He shared the sneak peek, writing, “On Father’s Day, I wish my baby boy the best…all the babies…and Tiger Baby…to #TheArchies!” Suhana responded to her post, “luv uuuu.”
Gauri also shared the video and praised Suhana. She wrote: “Super excited to see #TheArchies… @zoieakhtar style. All the best to the wonderful team!”
Meanwhile, netizens were seen praising the entire team for having the right vibe. One user wrote: “This was definitely the ’90s throwback we needed.” Another user wrote: “Suhana literally ate the 90s fashion and left no crumbs behind.” One of the comments also read: “I used to read the Archies comics and this is an important but beautiful memory for me.”
The creators have yet to announce the release date. But it will premiere on Netflix this year.
