As part of Milan fashion week, Emporio Armani presented a collection against the backdrop of a large ginkgo leaf.
The collection was a meditation on timelessness. Ginkgo, which the designer says has endured for 250 million years, appears throughout the collection as a motif in jacquards, prints and as elegant gold jewelry, an AP report claims. Towards the end of the show, Giorgio Armani bowed with the Italian Olympians, who were wearing the uniforms they will wear during next year’s Games in Paris. The uniforms have been designed by Armani.

The majority of the collection was in black and cream, presented in loose silhouettes like super wide-leg pants, sleeveless tunics, and smocks.
