Make-up dupes that are as good as luxury

Social media influencers and makeup artists are always on the lookout for affordable alternatives to popular luxury make-up and skincare products. Two fashion and beauty content creators, Muskan Chanchlani and Kompal Matta Kapoor, share their favourite dupe finds that are as good as their luxury counterparts.

Muskan Chanchlani spoke highly of the Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation, which she found hard to match in terms of coverage and natural-looking finish. One product she suggests as an alternative is the L’Oréal Lash Paradise mascara, which is a dupe for the Too Faced Better than Sex mascara.

In terms of lipstick, Chanchlani suggests the Maybelline lip crayon in 15 as a dupe for the popular nude shade, Mac Velvet Teddy. Another affordable alternative is the Swiss Beauty blood red lipstick that bears a resemblance to Mac Ruby Woo.

For highlighters, Kay Beauty Champagne Fizz is a dupe for the Becca Champagne Pop, while the Swiss Beauty liquid highlighter matches the Becca liquid highlighter. A similar product to the Rare Beauty liquid highlighter is the Kay Beauty liquid highlighters, Chanchlani explains.

For blush, the O.two.O blushes are an affordable alternative to the Nars Orgasm and Dolce Vita, with their similar shades and finishes. The Makeup Revolution liquid blushes also mimic the Rare Beauty liquid blush, while Wet n Wild pearlescent pink is a reasonable substitute for the Nars Peachy Keen blush.

When it comes to eyeshadow, the Morphe Jaclyn Hill Ring the Alarm palette is a perfect match for the Pat McGrath Mothership palette.

Kompal Matta Kapoor suggests that e.l.f. Holy Hydration! Face Cream is an affordable dupe for the luxury Keys Soulcare Skin Transformation Cream. For skincare, the Ordinary Glycolic Toning Solution is a dupe for the Pixi Glow Tonic, and the Missha Time Revolution Night Repair works as an alternative to the cult Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair.

Kapoor suggests the Milani Baked Blush- Dolce Pink as a cheaper alternative to the Nars Orgasm. Additionally, the Max Factor Creme Puff Blush and the Too Faced Papa don’t Peach Blush are dupe matches for the Anastasia Beverly Hills Blush Trio and Benefit Cosmetics Galifornia Blush. The Jouer Cosmetics Powder Highlighter in Citrine offers a perfect match for the Smashbox X Becca Shimmering Skin Protector, and Thrive Cosmetics Triple Threat Color Stick is a less expensive alternative to the Benefit Cosmetics Watt’s Up.

Kompal Matta Kapoor also recommends Milani Naturally Chic as a match for Nars Dolce Vita, Deepest HD Matte in Pillow Talk by Belora Paris for Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk, and Bobbi Brown Rich Berry for Tom Ford Lip Color in Bruised Plum.

For eyeshadow palettes, the Makeup Revolution Pro Colour Focus Palette is a great alternative to the Pat McGrath Labs Mothership II Eyeshadow Palette. On the other hand, Milani Nude Palette is perfect for Purple Nudes Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette.

Other affordable alternatives include the NARS Natural Radiant Longwear foundation for Dior Skin Forever Foundation and Skinfood Salmon Dark Circle Concealer Cream for Bobbi Brown Skin Full Cover Concealer.

In conclusion, these make-up dupes are as good as the luxury products in terms of quality and wearability, and they offer an affordable option for those on a budget.
