“1943 Class 5 Question Paper Baffles Netizens: A Jaw-Dropping Throwback!”

Retired IAS officer Badri Lal Swarnakar went viral after sharing a Class 5 question paper on commerce from 1943. The paper showed that the questions were much more difficult in the past than they are today. The students back then also had subjects that are not part of the curriculum anymore. The exam had a duration of 2.5 hours, with the maximum marks being 100 and the pass marks being 33. The questions asked ranged from determining the price of gold to writing business letters. Social media users were surprised at the level of difficulty of the questions. The post also shared a previously viral math exam question for fifth graders, which was also considered challenging by the netizens.
