Prime Minister Narendra Modi went on a roadshow in Tumakuru on Friday ahead of his upcoming public meeting in the area.
Upon his arrival at the helipad, he stood on the running board of his bullet-proof car and waved at the crowds, who cheered him on with chants of ‘Modi-Modi’.
The entire stretch was adorned with BJP flags, festoons, and posters of Modi.
Karnataka is scheduled to hold elections on May 10th, with the results set to be declared on May 13th.
