Apple-owned Beats is likely to launch a new pair of over-ear headphones called the Beats Studio Pro soon. While the company has yet to announce any details about the upcoming headphones, tipster Myke Hurley leaked the release date. on a recent episode of the Relay FM podcast Connected. The headphones are expected to debut next month. Furthermore, device specifications and other details have also surfaced on the internet, suggesting better battery life than Apple AirPods Max. The headphones will reportedly be priced at $349 (roughly Rs. 28,600).
Leaker Myke Hurley in a recent episode from the Relay FM podcast Connected shared that Beats Studio Pro will launch on July 19. He also shared a few other details, including black, navy, sandstone, and dark brown color options for the earcups. Also, features of the earbuds like drivers, battery life, and more have been leaked on the internet.
According to a 9to5Mac report Citing an anonymous source, the upcoming Beats Studio Pro will come with two custom 40mm drivers and an onboard digital processor to deliver better audio quality than the Beats Studio3. The headphones will feature active noise cancellation, transparency mode, and spatial audio support, with dynamic head tracking and custom spatial audio.
Additionally, Beats Studio Pro will support both a USB-C connectivity port and a 3.5mm headphone jack, which will likely be offered as accessories in the box. The report also adds that Beats Studio Pro will offer three distinct listening modes, namely Beats Signature Profile, Entertainment Profile, and Talk Profile when connected via USB-C cable.
Other leaked details include a custom-designed Beats chip to improve cross-platform support on iOS and Android devices, Google Fast Pair, Find My device, over-the-air updates, and more. The report further claimed that the upcoming earphones will offer up to 40 hours of total playback time with ANC turned off, which is a major improvement over the Apple AirPods Max’s 20 hours of listening time.
Leaked Beats Studio Pro details also reveal the design of the upcoming headphones. They are likely to come with a similar design to the Studio3 headphones and may weigh 260g.
