Google Makes Bard AI Available to Workspace Users: All the Details
Google has launched generative AI-powered tool, Bard, after the success of ChatGPT and Microsoft’s integration of it in its various apps and services. Initially, Bard was made available to a limited number of users but is now being made available to more users on Workspace.
According to Google, Workspace admins can now enable Bard for their domains. This allows their users to access Bard using their Workspace accounts for work, research, or other business needs. The feature is only available to all Google Workspace customers, as well as legacy G Suite Basic and Business customers.
Admins of Google Workspace accounts will be able to give access to their users. They can do so by heading to the Admin console under Apps > Additional Google services > Early Access Apps. Google explains that Early Access apps make a Google service or product available to Google Workspace users.
It’s important to note that this access to Bard is completely different from what Google has in mind for Docs, Sheets, and other Workspace apps.
Overall, the availability of Bard for more Google Workspace users will certainly make work, research, and other business needs more seamless and efficient.
