IT services company Infosys announced Thursday that it has launched a free Artificial Intelligence (AI) certification training on the Infosys Springboard e-learning platform.
According to a release, Infosys AI-first data specialists and strategists, responsible for delivering the Infosys Topaz AI first set of services, solutions and platforms, will help shape the curriculum, arming students with sets of future-ready skills.
Infosys will provide certification in AI and generative AI skills, crucial for getting jobs, through the InfosysSpringboard virtual learning platform, he said.
The certification will offer a variety of courses covering a large number of AI-related topics, including an introductory course on AI and generative AI, with a focus on deep learning and natural language processing, and a master class on AI and the impact of generative AI. .
In addition, a customized course on ‘Data Science for Citizens’ will aim to cover various aspects of the data science discipline, including Python programming, linear algebra, probability and statistics, and exploratory data analysis. Students will earn a certificate upon successful completion of the course.
Infosys Springboard offers a rich virtual curriculum platform that delivers enterprise-class learning experiences, on any device, with closer collaboration between educator and learner for students from Class 6 to lifelong learners.

In March this year, Infosys announced the retirement of Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw as an independent director of its board, effective March 22, 2023, once her term ends.
