Poco F5 and F5 Pro Specifications Leaked Ahead of India Launch

Poco, the Xiaomi-owned smartphone brand, is all set to launch its latest offerings, the Poco F5 and F5 Pro, in India soon. Ahead of the official launch, the specifications of the devices have been leaked online, giving us an idea of what to expect from these smartphones.

Display and Design

According to the leak, the Poco F5 will feature a 6.67-inch full-HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. On the other hand, the Poco F5 Pro will come with a slightly larger 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Both phones will support HDR10+ and will have Gorilla Glass 6 protection. Additionally, two color options will be available – Phantom Black and Frost White.

Performance

In terms of performance, both phones will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The Poco F5 is expected to come with a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support, while the Poco F5 Pro will have a slightly smaller 4,700 mAh battery with 50W fast charging support.

Camera

The Poco F5 will feature a triple-camera setup on the back, with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5-megapixel macro shooter. On the front, there will be a 20-megapixel camera for selfies. The Poco F5 Pro, on the other hand, will come with a quad-camera setup on the back, with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5-megapixel telemacro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, there will be a 16-megapixel camera.

Other Features

Both phones will come with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. While the Poco F5 will offer dual-SIM support, the Poco F5 Pro will come with 5G support and will be a single-SIM phone. Both devices will run on MIUI 12 based on Android 11 and will come with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, and NFC support. Additionally, the phones will have IR Blaster and Hi-Res audio certification.

Final Words

Overall, the Poco F5 and F5 Pro appear to be promising smartphones at their price point, with impressive specifications and features. However, we’ll have to wait until the official launch to know the price and availability details of these devices in India.
