Snapchat is exploring ways to give its users more visibility directly from its app. The photo messaging app is now rolling out a feature that will allow its users to display multiple links on their Snapchat profiles. These links may be to your work or directions to your profiles on other apps. Snapchat has partnered with Linktree to facilitate this feature. The development comes at a time when Snapchat enjoys a cult following of users in different parts of the world, including India.
With Linktree, people can compile multiple links related to their identities and work on a single page. Later, they could simply add your Linktree address to their social media profiles.
Linktree shared an official announcement about this upcoming feature on Twitter.
“And since Linktree is the exclusive link-in-bio platform for public Snapchat profiles, it’s never been easier to drive your followers to other channels you’re on,” Linktree said in a tweet.

As part of this partnership, Linktree has promised to give Snapchat users greater visibility on their platform.
In addition, the platform has also offered three months of premium services to Snapchat users, which will allow them to include their email IDs, phone number collection, and even NFTs in their Linktree profiles.
Snapchat had first expressed interest in this feature back in April.
With the booming creator economy, social media platforms are trying to get as much advantage as possible. To do so, the platforms offer creator-friendly options to their users.
In April, Instagram also launched a similar feature to allow users to showcase their published work across different media platforms.
In May 2023, Snapchat crossed the 200 million monthly active users mark in India. The company has also started partnering with merchants in India to build a local e-commerce ecosystem in the country on top of its augmented reality-enabled app.
In April, the photo messaging app also launched an artificial intelligence (AI)-supported interactive bot feature.
