US Man Loses $6 Million Jackpot, But Still Managed To Win $100,000

A man from Danville, California, had the misfortune of losing a $6 million jackpot, but on the bright side, he still managed to walk away with $100,000.
The man, who has chosen to remain anonymous, visited the Fortune Valley Casino in Central City, Colorado last week and attempted to hit the jackpot on a slot machine.
After multiple tries, he lost the grand prize of $6 million and was understandably disappointed. However, his luck turned around when he hit a smaller jackpot of $100,000 on the same machine just a few minutes later.
The casino celebrated his win, but also empathized with the man’s disappointment on losing the main prize.
“We are thrilled to have made a massive payout to one of our guests,” said the casino’s general manager, saying it’s rare for someone to win $100,000 soon after losing out on a much larger prize.
The man reportedly said that he would use the money to pay off his bills and mortgage.
While losing out on a $6 million jackpot must have been tough, the $100,000 prize would have been some consolation for the unlucky man.
