Prime Minister Narendra Modi slammed the Congress-led Rajasthan government for their lack of governance and indulging in “ugly politics” in the state. In a public meeting in Jaipur, PM Modi addressed the state’s political scenario, stating that while the state is reeling under poverty and unemployment, the Congress is preoccupied with fighting over the Chief Minister’s chair.

PM Modi criticized the Congress for not fulfilling their election promises of “Garibi Hatao” (Eradicate Poverty). He stated that this slogan was the biggest fraud the Congress ever played on the people of India. PM Modi also accused the Congress of using the poverty of the people as a political tool without taking any concrete steps to eradicate it.

He further added that the Congress was busy infighting rather than focusing on governance. He compared the Congress to an octopus, with each tentacle fighting for power and the people of Rajasthan being crushed under its weight. PM Modi urged the people to choose a government that will prioritize the welfare of the people over their selfish political interests.

The PM acknowledged that the people of Rajasthan have been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic, with businesses struggling and people losing their jobs. However, he also emphasized that his government has taken several steps to alleviate their suffering, including providing financial aid and free food grains. He appreciated the efforts of the people of Rajasthan in fighting the pandemic and urged them to continue following COVID-19 protocols to ensure the safety of themselves and their families.

In conclusion, PM Modi urged the people of Rajasthan to choose a government that will prioritize their welfare and work towards the development of the state. He emphasized that politics should not be a tool for personal gain but for the betterment of society as a whole.
