Poco F5 is all set to make its global debut on May 9, consisting of two models – Poco F5 5G and Poco F5 Pro 5G. The Chinese smartphone maker has been teasing the smartphone for quite some time now and has come up with another teaser, this time highlighting the camera module of the smartphone. As per the teaser shared on Twitter, the smartphone will feature a 64MP triple rear camera setup.

Poco F5 Confirmed Specifications

According to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon India handle on Twitter, Poco F5 will come with the new Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset, which is touted to be the most potent Snapdragon 7-series chipset. Based on the 4nm process node of TSMC, the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 is said to offer 50% higher performance, 13% improvement in power efficiency and double the AI performance of its predecessor, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. Additionally, the chipset will enable support for WiFi 6E on the smartphone.

Poco F5 Expected Specifications

There are rumors that Poco F5 could be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, which was launched in China last month. It is expected that Poco F5 will come with a 6.67-inch OLED display with an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The OLED panel on Redmi Note 12 Turbo features 1000 nits of peak brightness, Dolby Vision support, PWM dimming, and DCI-P3 color gamut. Therefore, we can expect the same display on the upcoming Poco F5. The smartphone might be powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset and could come with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 3.1 storage. The F5 could be backed by a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
